Local system design for Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns

BRIGHT took over the webpage designed by CUSTOM PHP and optimised its contents, incorporated new technological solutions and designed a local system to support client’s specific business needs. Over the last couple of years, the local system has been developed further to enable use of Symfony Framework and Microsoft Azure authentication service.

The system has been developed for local company use to support project management tasks and has employed the following functional tools – budget planning, time-measurement, expense management, invoice generator, client and supplier tracking and contract registration, surveys, employee access control, employee assessment as well as bonus estimation based on the individual data in the user’s profile. The system design also incorporates various report tools to obtain company’s overall efficiency reports.

BRIGHT used REST API to connect the system to another local system with an HR (human resources) module for processing employee data and generating holiday schedules which are accordingly synchronized across both systems. The HR module may soon be designed further and incorporated in the BRIGHT system.

BRIGHT technological solutions have been supported by Symfony, PHP, HTML, REST API, JavaScript, jQuery, twig, Export to PDF, Export to Excel, Export to Word

For Latvia Loto BRIGHT developed the communication contents and design to provide efficient information flow about the Sports lottery. The Sports lottery is part of the Latvia Lotto and Latvia Olympic Committee “Dynamics that unifies!” initiative promoting healthy and sporty lifestyle in all age groups. The Sports lottery raises funding to invest in the development of sports infrastructure in Latvian schools.

BRIGHT developed the campaign contents to cover all communication channels. Our team created the wireframe and web design for the landing page where customers can purchase tickets and learn about the lottery. For the landing page BRIGHT developed enticing lottery icons as well as a great number of other visual material such as studio and outdoor photos.

The Ķekava chicken farm is the one and only farm in Latvia with a full chicken farming cycle and poultry meat manufacturing services.

In the process of website development BRIGHT designed a full profile of style and design sketches as well as offered programming and SEO optimisation solutions employing the WordPress content management system which permits content administration and modification after the product has been launched. Visual identity of Financial Intelligence Unit

Each state institution has its own graphic sign, which consists of the national coat of arms (large or small), its name, and the appropriate colour square. To develop a visual identity and the necessary materials for the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), Bright team carried out research and prepared several colour offerings for selection. The yellow, sunflower colour – from Latvian nature and encompassing the colour range of the four seasons – was chosen as the main colour of FIU, while blue-green will serve as an additional colour – the colour of eternity, representing reliability, balance, and infinity.

In order to use the chosen colours and their combinations correctly, Bright prepared a set of visual identities with guidelines for the use of the graphic sign and examples for internal documents, social networks, and presentation materials. In addition, Bright developed PPT presentation templates, an informational message design, a news page template (for use in Word format), and other designs for the meaningful use of the graphic sign.

Riga Motor Museum is the largest and most modern museum of vintage vehicles in the Baltics; it attracts the attention of every visitor with the range and interactivity of its exposition.

In order to restore its logo and visual materials, Bright researched the museum’s range of offers and its values, as well as the defined target audience. Bright prepared a digital visual identity manual, so that all of the parties involved in creating and developing the museum’s image have the opportunity to obtain the necessary visual materials and source files.

The digital manual consists of the logo, its terms of use, a choice of colours and fonts, record-keeping, informative and e-environmental materials, as well as presentations.

Lif Fashion is a multi-brand company team that has been representing the global clothing and accessories brands U.S. Polo Assn and Camp David & SOCCX in the Baltic States since 2013. The offered range of Lif Fashion in women’s and men’s clothing and accessories is suitable for those who like movement – for people who like sporty style and for adventure seekers.

The Lif Fashion logo has been the same since 2013. Bright carefully and responsibly created two versions of the new logo based on the original logo – and two more, completely different versions using modern design trends. As a result, Lif Fashion chose to give new life to a new logo and undergo a pleasant change. Instructions for use were prepared for the chosen logo, to make it easier to navigate the change and maintain a uniform style.

After a successful cooperation in the development of the logo, we continue cooperation with the implementation of the digital summer sale campaign.

Based on previously conducted research, we created wireframes for the applications and later on – provided full design development. On the website user can learn more about the services provided by Home3, get answers to questions related to current subscriptions and apply for services as well as contact Home3 online consultants. On webpage user can find a TV programme that provides rich information not only for Home3 clients, but also for clients of other operators. The programme shows full broadcast list including past and planned broadcasts and gives the opportunity to learn more about each of them by reading a short description which is complemented with an image.

COCHELE branding and product photo

COCHELE is a natural lemonade brewed from dried coffee cherries. Drink that is a great thirst quencher and boosts your energy.

Bright team has developed COCHELE logo, in which the origin of lemonade is pointed out in two different ways – by dividing the name into syllables, each representing the essence of the drink, and combining coffee bean with the letter O, in order to highlight the importance of coffee tree in the lemonade production.

Continuing collaboration, Bright created the drink label as well as a representative card for the brand. For both materials as the base was used previously created logo, complemented by other elements and sharp and catchy texts.

In order for Ministry of Finance to successfully communicate about different topical subjects, Bright has developed several infographics that can be seen in both digital and environmental advertising formats. Infographics include eye-catching colors as well as easily perceivable element placement.

The annual income declaration infographic design is adapted from previously developed animation on the same topic. By using similar elements and colors, associative relationship between the two materials is developed. Budget spending infographic use bright colors, with the emphasis on the most important: budget allocation in 2019.

In Christmas 2018 Ventspils Digital Centre (VDC) greeted it’s friends with a lovely animation. Animation displays playful and in VDC fitted colours dressed dwarfs who pilot a drone in a snowy field, that way combining holiday theme with characteristic elements of VDC. A joyful music is played throughout the animation and it ends with a New Year’s greetings.

PilotExpo is Europe’s largest event dedicated to Flight Crew Recruitment and Training which took place in Berlin, Germany. A two-day exhibition for major airlines, flight training providers, recruiters and suppliers. PilotExpo is a great opportunity for flight crew to evaluate offered employment conditions and even pass on-the-site assessments. A two-day conference, divided into two different divisions – “Aces” for already licensed pilots and “Future Pilot” for aspiring youngsters, both answering the most important questions of each target audience.

Bright managed the social media channels creating visually appealing content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. To reach the target audience we ran banner ad campaigns with Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Based on State Revenue Service’s recalculation of the forecasted monthly non-taxable minimum on the 1^st of August 2018, a part of the employees may face a situation when a tax difference appears. Bright has developed an animated video, which informs about these changes, as well as explains in which cases the difference in taxes can form and how to avoid this kind of situation.

Bright has developed a new website – online shop for the public benefit organization Taureņa efekts.

In order to develop the website, an analysis of various pages of international as well as national organizations was carried out. The development process included creating a unique design that highlights and explains how each page visitor can support a variety of projects. Considering the diverse target audience of the website, particular attention was paid in making the page as user friendly as possible.

The website includes an online store and donation system that allows page visitors to support projects in 3 different ways – by donating via text message or by making a transfer, indicating the type of bank or payment card.

Bright has created a brending for LIFE AskREACH project, which will make it easier for people across Europe to see whether various consumer products contain highly dangerous substances.The shape of logo creates associations with molecules, therefore underlining the meaning of REACH (EU regulation regulating the circulation of chemicals). Chosen font is easily perceived by human eye, letting person not only focus on the name of the project, but also to remember it easily. Usage of chemical bonds adds dynamic to logo and creates the feeling that it does not end with hexagon, but continues indefinitely. If one of chemical bonds is covered, logo reminds of a magnifying glass, which represents looking for answers.

Mint green and orange are used because mint green is often associated with energy and wisdom as much as emotional balance and loyalty. With an emphasis of orange, the colours together create association with friendliness and trustworthiness.

An animated video for an informative campaign #Atkrāpies!

In order to fight shadow economy together, the socially informative campaign #Atkrāpies! of the state administration is being implemented for the second year. To address the target group – young people in the age of 16 to 24, Bright has created an animated video, which informs about five considerations which should be taken into account when establishing work relationship with a potential employer.

Design of the animation has been made in emoji style and includes several key elements of the campaign, for example, #Atkrāpies! logo and a reference to the electronical declaration system EDS. For the video to be easy to perceive, the script uses a language of symbols for the visual solution. 2D animation has been created using Adobe After Effects program.

Bright designers has created the logotype of the GASO – the subsidiary company of Latvian Gas. The easy-to-remember acronym GASO is made up of the name – Gas supply system operator (abbreviation in latvian).

The Logo symbol demonstrates the flame in a geometric shape that means a reliable supply of gas to consumers. The construction of the symbol, in combination with the selected lettering, symbolizes stability and security.

Bright has created a graphic identity for Aranet – the new product line of SAF Tehnika – for the target audience to associate the product with the company that produces it. An integral part of the Aranet logo is the triangle with a graphic symbol inside. The graphic symbol portrays the functionality of the device – the ability to monitor the temperature and humidity of multiple rooms in one device.

Also Bright has created a brand book for Aranet, where we describe a precise use of the logo, the use of basic and additional colors, font selection, business card, form design and other elements.

Bright has developed a new, modern homepage of the basketball club Ventspils using the world’s most popular content management system – WordPress. Due to the specifics of sports topicalities, the administration of the page is purposefully designed to be comfortable and simple. The Ventspils University Youth Team and the Women’s Team have also appeared in the new homepage along with the Ventspils team.

Fully responsive design is captured within the colours of BC Ventspils visual identity – sun’s yellow and royal blue. Bright is especially proud with the created Game score archive. It gives the sports enthusiasts an opportunity to get in-depth information about all previous games in a clear and understandable way. In addition, the system automatically calculates the statistics of wins and losses based on the parameters of interest – this has not been an option among Latvian basketball clubs until now.

Bright has made the design and done all formatting work for the book “Deviņu vīru spēks. Stāsti par deviņiem Ministru prezidentiem 1918-1940 ” (Power of Nine Men. Story about Nine Prime Ministers 1918-1940). The book features biographical accounts (text and historical photos) of Latvia’s prime ministers since the day the state was founded in 1918.

Especially for this project Bright developed an innovative concept for formatting the textual and visual contents. The photos of primary significance have been programmed with the Overly video function. The book was launched on May 3, 2016 at a ceremony at the State Chancellery.

The homepage was developed as a platform for social support to the President during his rehabilitation process after heart surgery. The idea of the homepage is unique and so is Bright graphic design featuring Latvia’s ethnographic belt of Lielvarde. A well- wisher would write his lines that further would be woven into a digital belt. Later an actual textile belt was woven and along with individual digital cards containing the well-wishes was given to the President.

Bright has created a game for ‘Viņas melo labāk’ TV series experts. The player registers with the PIN loyalty username and automatically enters a lottery to win a free flight with airBaltic. Bright provided solutions for the design and programming with HTML5/PHP/JS/MySql technologies.

The design of the game is developed in line with the MTG Latvia and PINS style guidelines as well as the concept of the game itself. Additionally, Bright managed promotion of the game with a banner campaign and made visualisations for use in social networks.

For Apeirons, an organisation for people with disabilities and their friends, Bright has designed and programmed a new homepage for the accessibility application Mapeirons. The map provides information about the public sites accessible to people with disabilities as well as elderly citizens and young children. The map is user-friendly and features an interactive map with public sites. Users can update the map with new sites that are accessible to people with disabilities and parents with strollers.

Additionally, Bright has designed a blog section ‘Accessible tourism’ where members of Apeirons share their experience about travelling in Latvia. The homepage is responsive and readily accessible on mobile phones, desk and portable PCs.
